Residence Inn Fort Myers Sanibel

We have stayed at the Residence Inn Marriott Fort Myers Sanibel for a couple of trips to Sanibel and Captiva Island, Florida.

The hotel offers the comforts of home with full kitchens, high-speed internet access, air-conditioning (a must have), work desk, and great pool area.

We are members of Marriott's Bonvoy program, so we like being able to use points for our stays or earn them for future visits.

 We had everything we needed for our trips to Sanibel and Captiva Island. It is really nice having a full-size fridge to store our favorite drinks and snack food in.

Coming back to the hotel after a full day of shelling and exploring the island it is nice being able to grab a cold soda and relax in the room.

There is more than enough space for us to spread out and take a deep breath. There are balconies on many of the rooms but we haven't used them much do to the no-see-um bugs that love South Florida.

Outdoor Pool

The hotel is doing renovations of the pool and spa area in August 2025. They will be temporarily closing the area so they can move forward with improvements.
