Derailed Diner
The Derailed Diner is a one-of-a-kind restaurant serving burgers, milkshakes, and keeping you entertained with all the things to look at.
Located at the Oasis Travel Center in Robertsdale, Alabama you can't miss the building as you drive up. There is a train attached to one side, half a VW Van brightly colored which tells you this truck stop is going to be a unique experience.
The Pecan Pie Cheesecake is on the 100 things you have to eat in Alabama before you die list.
Once you enter the eatery you are in for an experience that is hard to explain. You can sit in an airplane chair, motorcycle seat, tractor seat, lounger, couch, or regular chair.
Sit by a pickup truck tailgate and watch your favorite team play or just sit and look around at all of the memorabilia and things decorating the restaurant.
There are train cars, peddle cars, figurines, paintings, pictures, and so much more decorating the walls that it is hard to know where to look.
This is one of those unique destinations you just have to experience to truly grasp how fun it is.

The bar seating is unique and includes a motorcycle seat, regular seat, airplane seats, and more facing the Derailed Diner school bus.

Whistle Stop Club - Turkey, ham, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and mayo
Monte Cristo - Ham, turkey, swiss cheese, grilled and topped with powdered sugar.

Located off of I-10 at exit 53, at the Oasis gas station. Halfway between Mobile, AL and Pensacola, Florida
If you need a souvenir or gift there is a huge gift shop next to the restaurant.
The Oasis Travel Center also has a Chester's chicken, drinks, and snacks.
