If you are looking for the perfect family-friendly mini golf course in Orange Beach, you are going to LOVE Beachside Mini Golf. This fun 18-hole course embodies the Alabama Gulf Coast with its tropical beach theme, featuring a boat hole, waterfalls, coastal marine animals, and a giant lighthouse that serves as the course's centerpiece.
Located on Ruby Lane in Orange Beach, Beachside Mini Golf has become a beloved destination for families, couples, and groups looking for affordable entertainment that everyone can enjoy together.
Whether you're an experienced mini golfer or someone who (like me!) admits to being terrible at it but loves playing anyway, Beachside offers the perfect balance of fun and challenge.
18 fun holes are entertaining while still being a bit challenging. The course isn't so easy that it's boring, but it's not so difficult that kids get frustrated. Each hole incorporates the coastal theme beautifully; you'll putt around palm trees, navigate water features, encounter marine life sculptures, and face obstacles that make you think strategically about your shot.
The holes vary in difficulty, with some straightforward putts and others requiring strategic thinking about angles, slopes, and power. Par ranges across the holes, giving both beginners and experienced players goals to aim for. The variety keeps things interesting throughout all 18 holes; you're never bored because each hole presents something new.
Beyond the mini golf itself, Beachside has added the Beachside Mining Co. Discovery Station, bringing a unique mining experience to Orange Beach. Kids (and adults!) can pan for gemstones, fossils, and shells using traditional mining sluices, adding another layer of family fun to your visit.

Beachside Mining Co. Discovery Station has mining sluice availble in different size bags. Once you pick out a bag, you can use the outside mining area and run water through the mining sluice to uncover gemstones, fossils, and shells are in your bag.
