Old Salt Tavern

Old Salt Tavern is a newer Orange Beach restaurant and bar on Perdido Beach Boulevard that opened in the space formerly home to Stephi's Cocktail and Cuisine. With a made-from-scratch menu, a full bar, and a wall of big screens for watching sports, it has quickly become a go-to for locals looking for a casual dinner out.

The menu covers a lot more ground than you might expect from a neighborhood tavern. Wings come in 11 sauce flavors, including Bama White BBQ, Hot Honey, and Caribbean Jerk, and bulk orders are available for groups.

The sandwich lineup features Gulf shrimp and oyster po-boys on Leidenheimer French Bread, a standout Cajun Turkey Melt with Alabama White Sauce, and a Classic Reuben on grilled rye that is worth ordering.

Old Salt Tavern is located in the Walmart Shopping Center on Perdido Beach Boulevard, which means parking is never a problem, and it is easy to find, no matter where you are staying. The full bar, happy hour specials, and the big screens throughout the dining room make it a natural stop for game days and group dinners.

Indoor Seating

Old Salt Taverns indoor seating is a mix of tables and chairs, along with booth seating. Every table has a great view of at least one TV, if not an entire wall of them, perfect for watching a football game or event. The chairs are padded and really comfortable.

Indoor Bar

The indoor bar at Old Salt Tavern is along the wall with tall bar tables along with a few tall tables. There is a great flatscreen TV on the bar wall so you don't have to worry about missing a play during a big game.

Outdoor Seating

Old Salt Taverns outdoor seating also has great outdoor TV's. When we say this is a great Orange Beachs Sports Bar we are not kidding. There are places to watch the game everywhere you look.
