The Navarre Beach Fishing Pier is amazing for fishing, walking, scenery, bird watching, and looking for sharks.

Navarre Beach Pier is a must visit if you are looking for gorgeous scenery, wildlife, and the perfect spot to see the coastline. One of the top things to do in Navarre Beach, Florida.
Make sure you are ready for the hot Gulf sun! Hopefully, there will be a nice breeze to cool the temperature down.
I highly suggest planning more time than you think you will spend on the fishing pier. I always get distracted by the sea turtles, Atlantic bottlenose dolphins, and bird watching.
Plus, there are people fishing up and down the dock, so you can watch them reel in their next catch.
Locals and Visitors can walk the Navarre Fishing Pier. It is a fairly easy walk and provides gorgeous views of the area. It is the longest pier in the Gulf Coast at ⅓ of a mile. Make sure you have on comfortable shoes for walking on a wooden pier.

Windjammers on the Pier
Dine at this outdoor restaurant on locally caught Gulf Seafood with an epic view from the Navarre Pier. This open air restaurant is the perfect place to relax with good food.
The menu includes great salads, tacos (grouper, shrimp, and brisket), sandwiches including a grouper sandwich, a southern-style chicken sandwich, bourbon glaze Smashburger, grown-up grilled cheese, burgers, Baskets (fried oysters, jammers shrimp, grouper fillet, or chicken fingers), and more.
There is something for the whole family to enjoy with a great kids menu. There is a kids play area right below the restaurant with picnic tables in the sun and the shade.

Bait and Tackle Shop
You can rent or buy fishing gear at the privately operated Bait and Tackle Shop including lures, hook, reels, a fishing pole, and more.
They also have souvenirs of the area. Check out their board showing what has been caught the past two days along with low and high tide times.
Some of the fish they had listed as caught include:

- Cobia
- Hardtail

What to bring with you!
Sunscreen - There is no shade on the pier unless you bring an umbrella or head covering.
Water Bottle - Make sure to stay hydrated while walking the pier. They have water and soda in the gift shop if you forget to bring some with you.
Camera - You will be amazed at the wildlife you can see! Make sure you are prepared with your favorite camera. Don't do what I did on my last visit and leave your camera in the car and have to take blurry phone photos of epic sea turtles.
