Cantina La Luz
Cantina La Luz is a great Gulf Shores Mexican restaurant with fantastic menu options.
They have a ton of dishes to choose from. It looks like a small little hole in the wall restaurant from the outside compared to the size of Rouse's Grocery Store next door.
Once you walk into the restaurant it is amazing to see how much space there is.
Indoor Seating
They have two large rooms with indoor seating, including tables and chairs or booths. While we were there, they had tables set for 6 people, perfect for a group.
Indoor Bar
There is a nice size bar inside the restaurant with multiple flat-screen TVs.

Menu Highlights
Appetizers - Queso dip, Picadita Platter (queso dip with steak, shrimp, and chorizo), Shrimp Ceviche, Mexican Buffalo wings, Queso dip with chorizo, Guacamole, Bean dip
Entrees - Huevos Rancheros, Quesadillas (ground beef, chicken, steak, shrimp, pastor, or cheese), Fajitas (chicken, steak, shrimp, veggie, fajita Texana), chimichanga (chicken, beef, steak, shrimp), Taco salad, Carne Asada, Flautas, Bistec a la Mexicana.
Desserts - churros, fried cheesecake
Brunch Menu
The Brunch menu is served daily and includes:
La Luz Breakfast - 2 eggs (Scrambled or fried), bacon or sausage, served with beans, sour cream, sliced avocado, and tortilla.
La Luz Steak and Eggs - Carne asada, 2 eggs (scrambled or fried), breans, queso fresco, sour cream, and tortillas
Breakfast burrito - Flour tortilla with beans, scrambled eggs, shredded cheese, chorizo, all topped with salsa.
Breakfast quesadilla - Flour tortilla with scrambled eggs, shredded cheese, chorizo and salsa.
Chilaquiles - Red hot sauce or salsa verde served with 2 fried eggs on top.
Huevos Rancheros - 2 fried eggs topped with salsa verde, served with rice, beans, and tortillas
Kids Menu - The kids menu at Cantina La Luz includes an American taco or Mexico-style taco, Burrito, Quesadilla, or Enchilada served with a side of rice and beans. They also have chicken nuggets with French fries.
Gluten-Free - They have quite a few gluten-free options on the Cantina La Luz Menu.
Vegan - Salads
Vegetarian - cheese enchilada, quesadillas, huevos rancheros,
Signature Cocktails - They have fantastic margaritas! Super flavorful and tasted great.

Hours - Please confirm with the restaurant to ensure that the hours have not changed.
Accessibility - There is accessibility parking in the Rouse's parking lot. There are a couple of ramps leading up onto the sidewalk.
Inside the restaurant there is space to maneuver with tables in the middle of the restaurant.
Plus Size Seating - The booth seating had quite a bit of room and was really comfortable. They also have tables and chairs without arms.

Parking - There is a large Rouse's grocery store parking lot in front of the restaurant.
