The Blue Parrot Oceanfront Cafe on Saint George Island, Florida, is the perfect beach vacation restaurant.

The vibes are perfect for relaxing with one of their specialty drinks, enjoying fresh seafood and burgers, and looking for dolphins swimming in the Gulf of Mexico.

This beachfront restaurant is hard to leave once you have devoured all of the good food you ordered. We found ourselves savoring the great view of the Gulf while enjoying the shade from the outdoor deck.

The staff is fantastic! So friendly and excited to share the area with locals and visitors.

Indoor Seating

There is a great indoor seating area with air conditioning if you need a break from the hot Florida Gulf Coast sunshine.

Outdoor Tiki Bar

The outdoor tiki bar is the place to be for a frosty beverage. Check out the signature Sand Blaster Cocktail! Its so good they have a t-shirt in the gift shop about getting sand blasted.

Outdoor Seating

The outdoor seating on the patio offers epic views of the white sand beach and the Gulf of Mexico.

There is also covered seating on the upper decks that has shade from the hot sun. (Photo below).

The entire Blue Parrot Cafe Menu is fantastic, and it has everything you want to see at a beachside restaurant.

My husband is still raving about the blackened mahi tacos he enjoyed. He said they were flavorful and done perfectly.

The Blue Parrot menu includes the freshest local seafood, burgers, steaks, salads, delicious appetizers, Po Boy sandwiches and the World Famous Blue Parrot Seafood Platter.

Menu Highlights

Appetizers/Starters - Peel & eat shrimp, wings, jalapeno poppers, loaded fries, golden onion rings, homemade corn meal hushpuppies, calamari, smoked yellowfin tuna dip, Bahamian conch fritters, cheese bites, cocktail claws, edamame, and fries.

Soups and Salads - Lobster Bique with fresh crab, seafood gumbo, large garden salad.

Entrees

Cheeseburger in Parrotdise - Angus burger with choice of American, Swiss, or cheddar cheese.

Fresh Mahi Tacos - Grilled or blackened (photo above)

The World Famous Blue Parrot Seafood Platter - A heaping platter of grouper, shrimp, oysters, sea scallops, and a crab cake. Available grilled, blacked, fried, or boiled.

New Orleans style Po Boys - Fried bay scallops, Fried popcorn shrimp, or fried oysters.

Rattlesnake Cove Oysters - Raw on the half shell, baked with butter and parmesan cheese, or Oysters Casino (baked with pico de Gallo, bacon, and cheddar cheese).

Kids Menu - The hostess staff will have the kid's menu

Gluten-Free - Oysters, blackened fresh fish, grouper, mahi, yellowfin tuna, shimp, dea sea scallops, snow crab, New York strip, Hawaiian Chicken

Vegetarian - I enjoyed some of their delicious cheese bits (cheese curds). They were hot and flavorful.

They also have jalapeno poppers, cornmeal hush puppies, onion rings, and a Large garden salad.

Signature Cocktails

The bar menu includes craft, draft, domestic beer options, island drinks, and more. The bartenders can whip you up a frozen cocktail perfect for cooling off.

Sand Blaster - Mango, blackberry, lime, and rum with a 151 floater.

Island Girl - Coconut rum, pineapple juice, and orange juice served on the rocks with lemon-lime soda.

Parrotdise - Coconut rum, Blue curacao, tropical fruit juice, and grenadine.

St. George Island Breeze - Citrus juices with cherry-infused vodka

Accessibility - There is a ramp leading up to the restaurant's main entrance and seating on the main level. There are accessible parking spaces near the front entrance.

Plus Size Seating - The chairs outside do have arms on them and are plastic chairs. The staff can bring a chair from the indoor seating if you are more comfortable.
