If you are looking for beachside dining, Quietwater Beach, views of Santa Rosa Sound, souvenir shopping, or a place to play in the sand with the kids, you will love the boardwalk.
There is a mix of local restaurants and national chains that everyone loves. It is a short walk from one end of the boardwalk to the other.
Pensacola Beach Boardwalk Restaurants
Some of our favorite restaurants on Pensacola Beach Boardwalk include Bamboo Willie's for great frozen drinks, Whiskey Joe's for delicious food, Papa's Pizza for delicious calzones and pizza, and of course the new Senor Frogs!
Bamboo Willie's
This beachside bar offers delicious frozen cocktails in fun flavors. The Cherry Bomb comes with a yellow rubber ducky, a fun souvenir of your time in beautiful Pensacola Beach.
This is a great bar to meet new friends, relax with a great drink in between, taking a nice stroll on the beautiful Quietwater beach.
Menu highlights - Swamp water, Pina Colada, Bushwacker, Jungle Juice, Orange Dream, Blue Angel, Electric Lemonade, and so many more.
Felix's Restaurant and Oyster Bar
Felix's Restaurant has a gorgeous deck providing fantastic views of the water. Enjoy fresh Gulf Seafood and relax for sunset.
The restaurant is three floors and includes The Oyster Bed Beach Bar, Area 3 Rooftop Bar, The Sunset Deck, Veranda, Oster Bar, and more.
Menu highlights - Fried crab fingers, seared tuna, Louisiana gator, Boiled shrimp, scallops, New Orleans Shrimp and grits, steaks, Crawfish Etouffee, Red Beans & Rice, Jambalaya, and a great bayou sampler just to name a few.
Oysters - Char-grilled, on the half-shell, oysters du jour, oysters Bienville, buffalo oysters, oysters Rockefeller, and oysters Felix.
Hooters
This national chain has a large restaurant on the boardwalk. They are known for their wings, burgers, shrimp and so much more.
Menu highlights - Wings, Burgers, Sandwiches and tacos, Seafood, salads, and great desserts.
Wings - Original style wings, smoked wings, Daytona Beach style wings, Roasted wings, naked wings, boneless wings
If you are looking for seafood they have steamed shrimp, Alaskan Snow Crab Legs, Fish Tacos, and Baja Shrimp Tacos.
Kilwins
Kilwins has amazing Mackinac Island Style Fudge, 24 flavors of premium ice cream, and the best sweet treats on the boardwalk.
Menu highlights - Ice Cream flavors include butter pecan, cake batter, Cappuccino chocolate chip, chocolate chip cookie dough, toasted coconut, cookies & cream, mint cookies & cream, New Orleans Praline pecan, old fashioned vanilla, sea-salt caramel, lemon sorbetto, strawberry chunk, superman, and more.
They also offer milkshakes, malts, ice cream sundaes, and so many more sweet treats.
Papa's Pizza
Papa's Pizza makes every single slice, pie, stromboli, calzone and more by hand.
Menu highlights - Pastas - Spaghetti with meatballs, spaghetti with marinara, or spinach lasagna.
Salads - Greek salad, anti-pasta salad,
Calzone - Ricotta cheese, spinach, mozzarella, and Romano cheese.
Stromboli - Sausage, pepperoni, ground beef, black olives, mushrooms, and mozzarella cheese.
Senor Frogs
The newest restaurant on the Pensacola Beach Boardwalk offers delicious Mexican food and drinks.
Menu highlights - Chips n salsa, Mexican street corn, nachos, wings, shrimp ceviche, fajitas, tacos, big burgers, sandwiches, ribs, Mango tropical mahi-mahi, and more.
Churros!!!!! And of course delicious drinks perfect for the beach.
Whiskey Joe's
Locals and visitors will love the Caribbean flavors and laidback look of the restaurant. This is a beach-front restaurant you can relax in and have a great time in.
Menu highlights - Whiskey Joe's Pensacola Beach has a fantastic menu of great food including seafood, local fish tacos, juicy burgers, and tiki-inspired cocktails.

Things to do at the Pensacola Beach Boardwalk
Quietwater Beach
Enjoy the shallow waters of Santa Rosa Sound along Quietwater Beach. This is a great white sand beach for families to enjoy.
If you want to get out on the water you can rent kayaks, boats, paddleboards, and other equipment just east of the boardwalk on Little Sabine Bay.
Pensacola Bay City Ferry
Hop on the ferry from the Quietwater Beach Boardwalk Pier and cruise to Fort Pickens or Downtown Pensacola.
You can purchase an all day pass to be able to explore the area. The air conditioned boat is a great way to explore Fort Pickens part of Gulf Islands National Seashore and Downtown Pensacola.
They also offer sunset cruises, Blue Angels practice cruises, Fireworks Cruises, Blue Angels Air Show Cruises, and more.
Dolphin Cruises
You can hop on a great dolphin cruise that leaves right from the pier at the Pensacola Beach Boardwalk.
Book your Pensacola Beach Morning Dolphin Cruise and spend 2 hours out on the waters of Florida's Gulf Coast looking for dolphins, birds, and other marine life.
There is also a daytime dolphin cruise that leaves from the pier depending on what time you want to head out

Things to know when planning a visit
Address - 400 Quietwater Beach Road, Pensacola Beach, Florida 32561
Hours - Please confirm with the each restaurant and store. Hours may change seasonally.
Accessibility - There is accessible parking next to ramps that lead up to the boardwalk. Once on the boardwalk it is
Plus Size Seating - Each location has their own seating options. We found that most had comfortable seating options.
Dress Code/Suggestions - Beach Casual. You are going to see a bit of everything when it comes to what people wear. Don't be surprised if people are in swimsuits wandering the boardwalk to get food or take a break from the beach.
Pets - We saw people with dogs on the boardwalk. That being said we have not seen anything official about the pet rules.
Dogs are only allowed on two specific beaches in Pensacola Beach. Quietwater Beach is not dog friendly.
Parking - There is a fairly large parking lot next to the boardwalk. That being said it does fill up quickly especially during the busy season.
Hotels near Pensacola Beach Boardwalk
If you are looking for hotels near the Boardwalk in Pensacola Beach there are quite a few options. You will find both vacation rentals and national chain hotels spread down the island.
We have stayed at the Fairfield by Marriott Inn and Suites in Pensacola Beach a few times and really enjoyed it.
