These OWA Restaurants are located in Downtown OWA outside Tropic Falls Water Park and Amusement Park. A little farther down this article, we have the OWA restaurants located in the theme park.
Downtown OWA also features a Starbucks, The Spice & Tea Exchange, and Murder Creek Distillery.
The OWA park complex features tons of dining and entertainment options. OWA has become a premier destination in Baldwin County. They keep bringing in great new restaurants and fun new attractions.
You can enjoy an unforgettable evening of fun wandering around Downtown OWA. Enjoy great wine at C'est Le Vin Wine bar, delicious desserts at Hershey's Ice Cream Parlor, Epic wings at Groovy Goat, along with checking out a Brandon Styles magic and comedy show.

Groovy Goat
We are big fans of the Groovy Goat at OWA. They have huge TVs perfect for watching sports or a big event.

Tableside nachos! Nacho servers come to your table and customize a giant platter of nachos exactly how you want them.
G.O.A.T. Wings in a wide variety of flavors including Buffalo, Cola teriyaki, Sticky Honey and Black Pepper, Sweet BBQ, House Medium Voodoo, Thai Chili, Korean BBQ, or Habanero. Boneless or traditional bone-in wings available.
OWA Grown Up Grilled Cheese is delicious. So is the Bar Burger with a sunny side up egg and bacon.

Cozumel Bar & Grill is the fantastic new Mexican Restaurant in Downtown OWA. They are getting rave reviews from local foodies and visitors.

Gusssie's
Gussie's in Downtown OWA is a great family friendly restaurant. They have a fantastic kid's menu with all of their favorites available.
Adults will love the selection of sandwiches, build your own burger, salads, and so much more.
Menu highlights:
Appetizers include hand cut mozzarella sticks, beer battered onion rings, spicy smoked tuna dip, fried banana peppers, and fried green tomatoes.
They have a great Build Your Own burger with topping options. Tons of sandwiches are available included a grilled buffalo chicken wrap, French dip, shrimp po'boy, bang bang tacos, Uncle B's Big Cheese, and a classic Cuban Sandwich.
Gussies has a great kid's menu with all of their favorites including a kid burger, hot dog, PB&J, Kid chicken tenders, kid shrimp, and a grilled cheese.

Hershey's Ice Cream Parlor
Hershey Ice Cream is always a good idea! Especially on a hot Gulf Coast of Alabama day.
This ice cream parlor has a 1950's vintage vibe and so many flavors of ice cream to choose from.

Sushi Co. - Closed
Sushi Co. Closed on Labor Day Weekend! A new restaurant should be announced soon.
Enjoy Sushi rolls, hibachi fried rice, poke bowls, and more at Sushi Co. in Downtown OWA.

Towne Tap
Towne Tap is a European inspired pub in Downtown OWA that features self-pour beer taps.
Menu highlights:
Appetizers include loaded beer cheese fries or chips, pub chicken wings, roasted red pepper hummus, buffalo chicken egg rolls, a giant Bavarian soft pretzel, fried brussel sprouts, and duck bacon cream cheese wontons.
Entrees include bratwurst n chips, beer battered fish po'boy, pub cheeseburger, fried chicken sandwich, pub-style fish and chips, bangers & mash, shepherd's pie.
They also have potato soup, a strawberry pecan salad, and house salad. The dessert menu looks delicious.
The kids menu includes pizza sticks, fried chicken bites, and a grilled cheese with fries.

Waffles R Wild - The Speakeasy
The newest addition to Downtown OWA is Waffles R Wild. You can enjoy a wild range of waffle creations including waffledilla (quesadilla made in a waffle maker), chicken and waffle kabobs, and more. They even have an Oreo Wafflewich.
This newly opened family restaurant features prohibition cocktails at the Waffles r Wild Bar inside the restaurant.
Menu highlights:
Breakfast menu includes a breakfast waffledilla, big shot omelet, breakfast tacos, and classic breakfast dishes with a waffle dish. Don't worry they have traditional waffles.
They have a ton of waffle toppings to choose from. You can also infuse your waffles with fun flavors.
Appetizers include chicken waffledilla, steak waffledilla, chicken and waffle kabobs, potato fry party, chicken tenders, loaded nachos, and a lot more.
Signature dishes include the Wild Plate a Rochester favorite that includes burgers, tenders, or hot dogs over homemade mac salad and fries, covered in meat hot sauce and onions, with a savory waffle.

OWA Restaurants in Tropic Falls
These restaurants are in the Tropic Falls water park and outdoor amusement park. You will need Tropic Falls tickets to access these restaurants.
Tropic Falls at OWA includes and indoor waterpark along with outdoor wave pool and amusement park rides.
There is a great Coastal Curl Surf Simulator, Rollin Thunder roller coaster, and so many more rides to enjoy.
Baja Grill at Tropic Falls
Located in Tropic Falls this restaurant features classic theme park favorites with a tropical twist.
Menu highlights -
Baja Snacks include Cauli wines, chips & queso, pretzel bites, French fry basket, bacon and cheese potato kegs, Baja nachos.
Combos served with fries and a drink include the Baja Burger, Impossible Burger, Grilled Chicken Sandwich, Hot dog, Chili Cheese Dog, Chicken Tenders, and Buffalo Chicken Tenders.
They also have sweet treats, Coke products, beer, and hard seltzer.
Breakers Bar & Grill
Located at Big Water Bay inside Tropic Falls.
Menu highlights:
The menu features delicious drinks and great food.
Specialty cocktails include Big Kahuna Margarita, Leisure Island Iced Tea, Ripcurl Rum Punch, Blue Hawaiian, Rogue Wave Bloody Mary, Watermelon Wave, Maui Splash, Tropic Lemonade, and Tropical Kraken.
They also have frozen cocktails, kids mocktails, beer, hard seltzer, and wine.
Grub at Tropic Falls
Located inside the Tropic Falls indoor water park. This Hawaiian themed restaurant offers great food, drinks, and a pineapple Dole Whip signature dessert.
Menu highlights:
Snacks & Sides - Paddleboard fried pickles, Hang ten cheese bites, chips & queso, BBQ Chicken longboard nachos, French fry boat, and a queso fry boat.
Combos with a drink and fries include a Wipeout cheeseburger, impossible burger, BBQ chicken sandwich, island hot dog, jumbo corndog, chicken tenders, and buffalo chicken tenders.
They also have 16 inch cheese and pepperoni pizzas
Libations at Tropic Falls
Located inside Tropic Falls Indoor Waterpark is a great tropical cocktail bar.
Menu highlights:
Big Kahuna Margarita, Hang 10 Margarita, Ripcurl Rum Punch, Blue Hawaiian, Rogue Wave Bloody Mary, Tropical Kraken, Tropic Lemonade, Watermelon Wave, and Maui Splash.
Frozen cocktails include Frozen Falls margarita, ICEE Strawberry Daiquiri, Original Jack & Coke Frozen, ICEE Pina Colada, and The Bushwacker.
Kids mocktails include the Shark Bite.
They also serve beer (Michelob Ultra, Bud Light, and Corona), along with Topo Chico Seltzer.
Tiki Treats
Located near the kid and family friendly rides in Tropic Falls Amusement Park.
Menu highlights: Dole Pineapple Soft Serve, root bear float, coke freeze, ICEE Freeze
Tiki Treats is has Dole Pineapple Soft Serve...and funnel cakes and cookies. I stopped for the Dole Whip and couldn't try anything but frozen pineapple deliciousness.
Things to know when visiting OWA Parks & Resorts
Parking - There are large parking areas on both sides of the OWA Parks & Resort complex. Downtown OWA's pedestrian-only streets can be accessed form any of the parking lots.
The main parking lot for Tropic Falls and a lot of the restaurants is the Clock Tower Parking Lot (Pictured above). In each restaurant description above we have listed which parking lot to park at for the closest walk.
Closed Restaurants - One thing to know is Paula Deen's Family Kitchen is no longer located at OWA. Wahlburgers closed in 2020.
Sushi Co. closed as of September 2024.
Hours - Make sure to check each restaurants website or the OWA website for current hours. Summer hours and spring hours vary depending on the day of the week.
Do any OWA Restaurants have vegetarian food?
Yes! Here are some of our favorite vegetarian options we have found.
Groovy Goat has a grown up grilled cheese just remove the bacon, parmesan garlic mushrooms, pretzels & queso, pickle fry up, hot pepper cheese curds, mozzarella sticks, and a Greek salad.
Baja Grill (Inside Tropic Thunder) has an impossible burger, pretzel bites, cauli wings, chips & queso, fry basket, and Baja nachos.
Cozumel Bar & Grill - Quesadilla, guacamole dip, Vegetarian fajitas, garden salad, Fajita taco salad without meat, taco salad without meat,
Grub at Tropic Falls has an impossible burger, fried pickles, hang ten cheese bites (cheese curds), chips & queso, and cheese pizza.
Gussies has hand cut mozzarella sticks, beer battered onion strips, fried banana peppers, fried green tomatoes, Uncle B's Big cheese sandwich with up to 5 cheeses, steamed broccoli, wild rice, mac n cheese, Cole slaw, house and seasonal salad, and a quinoa plate (remove the chicken)
Towne Tap has a strawberry pecan salad along with a house salad, roasted red pepper hummus, giant Bavarian soft pretzel (check the beer cheese dip), and fried Brussel sprouts (remove bacon topping)
Waffles R Wild has breakfast waffles, breakfast waffledilla (remove the meat), chips & salsa, onion rings, savory waffle bites, garden salad, wild ranch salad, and dessert waffles. You can also make a gourmet sandwich with a veggie burger in a savory waffle, roll, wrap, sweet waffle, Texas toast, or lettuce wrap.
