Lighthouse Bakery
If you are planning to visit the Lighthouse Bakery on Dauphin Island, Alabama I highly suggest going EARLY in the morning for the best selection.
They are known for their epic cinnamon rolls, turnovers, Danishes, muffins, pigs in the blanket, and cookies. Everything in the bakery is made fresh every morning in the kitchen from scratch with the original recipes of Mrs. Mary Scarcliff.
Her Daughter Christa Jones manages the bakery. They offer multiple types of coffee drinks including macchiatos and frappacinos to pair with your bakery choice.
On Saturday mornings they have omelets with great filling options including ham, crab meat, sausage, onions, green peppers, mushrooms, tomatoes, spinach, and jalapenos. The Lighthouse Bakery staff is amazing and happy to help you decided which treat is the best.
If you need a birthday cake or cupcakes they take custom orders.

There is great outdoor seating right outside of the bakery on the front porch. We really enjoy the long benches for relaxing and enjoying our treats or lunch.
