McGuire's Irish Pub of Destin

McGuire's Irish Pub is packed with dollar bills stapled everywhere they can possibly fit inside the restaurant. It is a bit of a shock when you first walk in and realize you are surrounded by thousands if not hundreds of thousands of dollar bills stapled all around you.

I stapled a dollar bill to the wall as part of my 50 before 50 list on the Gulf Coast. It was so much fun.

One thing we really enjoy at McGuire's is their Sunday brunch. The omelettes are massive with 6 eggs, you get to choose between a hot or cold Irish Coffee, and they serve fresh beignets. The live music is always great and the atmosphere is fun and energetic.

Indoor Seating

There are tables and chairs spread througout the large Destin McGuire's Restaurant. The main restaurant area can seat 500 people so there is space for a family or friends group.

For a unique view of Destin Harbor there are 150 seats upstaits on The Deck.

Senate Bean Soup - This recipe was served for $.18 in the 1977 US Senate. This homemade soup is so good!

Irish Cockles & Mussels - Steamed clams and mussels in a white wine and garlic butter sauce with chopped bacon.

Reuben Eggrolls - Homemade Irish egg rolls with corned beef, sauerkraut, and Swiss Cheese served with thousand island dressing.

Corned Beef and Cabbage - swerved with Killarney potatoes and honey buttered carrots.

Irish Steak and Mushroom Pie - tenderloin tips baked with wild mushrooms in a cabernet wine demi-glaze topped with a house made puff pastry crust.

Shepherd's Pie - Ground steak with fresh vegetables topped with Irish potatoes, cheddar cheese, all baked to golden brown.

Irish Lamb Stew - lamb shanks, onions, Irish potatoes, parsnips, turnips, carrots, and celery.

New York Prime Strip -  16oz USDA Certified prime aged beef char-grilled over wood fires, served win garlic hotel butter.

Jameson Pork Chop - Grilled French loin pork chop with an Irish whiskey glaze, served with homemade granny smith applesauce.

Angus Steak Burgers - ¾ pound lean beef with a blend of seasoning rubbed into the steak burgers. Served with Irish potato fries or homemade baked beans.

The kids menu is known as the Leprechauns Menu and includes Flynn's Fish n Chips, Macroni N Cheese, Mozzarella Cheese Sticks, Chix o'Nuggets, Flanagan's Corn Dog, O'Reilly's Cheesy Pizza and a Lucky Leprechaun Drink.

Let the server know you are gluten-free.
