Uncle Buck's Fish Bowl and Grill Destin

I saw a photo of bowling under the sea at Uncle Buck's Fish Bowl in Destin and knew we had to go try it.

We are not the best bowlers but how can you not have a great time bowling with the backdrop of sunken ships, saltwater species, and the feel of a deep sea dive.

When I opened a Groupon email and saw that there was an epic deal for 2 people I jumped at the opportunity to book a weekend getaway in Destin.

Little did I know that I was booking what may be my favorite date we have done in a long time. We laughed so hard while attempting to bowl.

Confession...we used bumpers for our 2nd game. For the 1st time ever we played with bumpers and it was so much fun.

Uncle Bucks has automatic bumpers that they can set for each player that wants to use them. They move up and down by player.

Bowling Alley

The 16-lane bowling alley is under the sea themed to the point that everywhere you look feels like you are under water.

Even the bowling ball machine (no clue if that is the correct term but roll with it) is shark or alligator shaped.

This is the only place I have a seen a bowling ball come out of a sharks mouth. LOL

The walkway up to the bowl looks like wooden lanes similar to a dock. The ceiling is designed to look and feel like you are under the waves.

They have onsite shoe rentals at the front counter with helpful staff.

There is also a room filled with arcade games.

Indoor Seating

There is a seperate eating area if you want to have everyone together for food. You can also have food near the bowling lanes but this room would be great for birthday groups or families that wanted to make sure everyone was together.

Indoor Bar

The underwater-themed bar area is super fun located in between the two sections of bowling lanes.

They have themed fishbowl drinks and lots of fun cocktails available.

Uncle Bucks Destin Menu

One thing we were really surprised about was being able to order food and drinks right to the bowling lane.

The waitstaff came by and asked if we needed anything, kept our drinks filled, and were a lot of fun.
