The Beach Club Resort & Spa in Fort Morgan, Alabama offers beachfront condos, amazing amenities, and a fantastic spa!
The Beach Club Resort & Spa
We stayed at The Beach Club Resort during our first visit to the area 7+ years ago. It was during this trip that we fell in love with the Alabama Gulf Coast.
During that first visit, we talked about how amazing it would be to buy a residence at The Beach Club and move to the Gulf Coast.
Fast forward to today, and while we ended up buying a house in Gulf Shores, we still love spending time at The Beach Club Resort and Spa.
It is the perfect location for a weekend getaway. There are so many things to do at the resort, or you can do nothing at all and just savor the sounds of beach life.
While I know you can book a stay at The Beach Club outside of Spectrum, I really think the amenities that Spectrum offers make their site the best one to book with.
One thing I never really thought about until we started booking with Spectrum Resorts was how often the coverlet on the bed was washed. I assumed it was washed after every guest.
Come to find out, that isn't the case. Thankfully, when you rent with Spectrum, they have a clean coverlet guarantee! They wash the coverlets after every visitor.
Spectrum has staff onsite at the Beach Club to make sure your stay is amazing. They are there to help you have the best time.
Oh and you get discounts at all retail and dining outlets, you can use your wristband to pay for things (no worrying about having to carry a credit card on the beach), and access to ALL resort amenities.

Choosing where to stay at The Beach Club Resort
Every condo is owned by individual owners. We suggest looking at the Spectrum Resort website and picking a unit based on your personal needs.
The Spectrum website allows you to filter results based on whether you would like a condo or cottage, the number of bedrooms, the number of bathrooms, specific buildings, and amenities. We like to look at the furniture in the condo to see if it fits our personal needs.
My husband has bad knees so we look to see the height of the couch in the living room, does the dining room table have a short or tall table, is there a king bed, a dishwasher, what is the furniture like on the private balcony or patio, is there space to work if we need to.
I also suggest looking at the photos for each unit to see what matches your dream beach vacation. Are you looking for a colorful bright tropical atmosphere or a chill modern look?
Each of us has our own personal needs when it comes to a beach vacation. What we love about booking with Spectrum Resorts is they are happy to help you find the best location for you and your family.
Their website allows you to designate if you want a condo with a Keurig Machine (coffee is important!), ground floor unit, walk-in shower, smart TV, roll-in shower, air fryer, bunkbeds, and so much more.
One thing we love is having a washer and dryer in the room. It saves so much stress not having to worry about packing the entire closet knowing we can easily do laundry.
There are multiple towers at The Beach Club Resort so you can look for one close to the clubhouse pool, far away from everyone, or on a top floor for sweeping Gulf of Mexico views.
There are four residential towers - Avalon, Bristol, Catalina, and Doral. Make sure to look at the resort map to see where each tower is located.
Whether you need just a master bedroom, two or a third bedroom condo they have it available. If you have a big family or group that is looking to visit check out the two story penthouse with 5 bedrooms and bathrooms!
There is something for everyone at The Beach Club Resort in Fort Morgan. After staying at the resort multiple times we still keep finding reasons to go back.
The Beach Club Resort Amenities
Every time we have stayed at The Beach Club we have been blown away at the amenities.
I tried to take pictures of all the events, classes, and things happening at the resort that were being shown on a TV by the elevators. 20+ photos later I still wasn't to the end of all the fun.
You can easily stay at the resort for your entire beach vacation and the everyone in the family will have fun things to do.
Make sure to wear your Spectrum wristband to enjoy discounts at the retail shop and dining outlets.
Kids will love the playground, kids camp, and beach access! Adults will love the sports bar, access to jet skiing and parasailing, air conditioning on a hot Alabama summer day, and the free Wi-Fi.
The Beach
If you are dreaming of walking a white sand beach with the Gulf of Mexico lapping at your feet you will be so happy here.
The resorts private and secluded beach stretches the length of five football fields.
Spectrum offers beach chair rentals so you can savor the Gulf Coast lifestyle in comfort. I read on the Spectrum website that they offer Mermaid and Pirate photo shoots.
I feel like this is the perfect reason to plan another weekend getaway. Who doesn't want a photo as a mermaid or pirate on the beach with fun accessories.
If you haven't visited the Gulf Coast during the off-season I HIGHLY suggest it! The winter is spectacular and the perfect time to explore the beach life.
It feels like you are on a private island walking the white sand beach in front of the condo. During our recent visit in January I saw at most 10 other people on the beach with me.
Events & Activities
I am so impressed with the sheer number of events and activities offered at the resort. Between fitness classes, local excursions, Toby's Kids club, dancing, board games, coloring contest, and more.

Walking Trails
There are gorgeous trails leading through the property including raised boardwalks. This is a great way to stretch your legs, look for wildlife, and savor the great Alabama Gulf Coast weather.
Bird Watching
Every time we visit The Beach Club we end up seeing amazing birds. I am going to admit that we see so many birds that we plan time to drive around the parking lots and property to see what is flying around.
There are ponds near the entrance that have been amazing for birding. The Red Shouldered Hawk pictured above was hunting for food for 30+ minutes while we sat in the car watching. The photo above is with my cell phone to give you an idea of how great the bird watching is.
During our first visit to The Beach Club we saw Black Bellied whistling ducks and I am going to admit I squealed with joy. They were a brand new bird species for us.
If you are a birder we highly suggest wandering out the property to see all of the birds and wildlife.

Coast is one of our favorite date night restaurants. Even when we are not staying at The Beach Club we will drive to Fort Morgan to enjoy great food, delicious drinks, and the view of the water.
My husband keeps telling me the steaks he has enjoy at Coast Restaurant have been the best in the area. The filet mignon was unbelievable. He couldn't believe how perfectly cooked it was and how great the flavor was.

I need you to book a massage with KC during your visit to Fort Morgan, Alabama or nearby! Honestly, just book the massage now so you know you have at least an hour of relaxation happening during your beach vacation.
If you are thinking about a facial Jessica does an amazing job. I came out of the spa so relaxed with my skin glowing even in a windy rain storm.
