Sassy Bass hosted us for lunch so we could check out the menu but I have to admit that we had already eaten at the restaurant before for breakfast and loved it.
The restaurant is bright, comfortable, and perfect for the entire family. The service is phenomenal. The staff is incredibly friendly, helpful, and wants to make sure you have the best meal you possibly can with them.
The food is delicious. There is no other word for it. Every single thing we have tried we would go back for again and again.
We are already planning a return visit for coffee, fried plantains, and to try something new. I told my husband we can start having mini dates with individual bowls of fried plantains and he can have the coffee he loves there.
My amazing husband who is a serious coffee snob loves the coffee at the Island Grill. He is normally the pickiest coffee drinker and he said it was amazing.
