What started as a small neighborhood pub in a shopping center in 1977 has grown into a destination for locals and visitors.
The first $1 dollar tip that Molly received was tacked to the back bar for good luck. This started the tradition that has now turned into over a million dollars in one dollar bills hanging from the pub ceiling.
The restaurant is broken into different theme-oriented rooms, including the Pipers Den, The Irish Links Room, the Ruprecht O'Tolf Wine Cellar, and the Notre Dame Room.
The Pensacola Location is in the historic old firehouse building. There is a second location in Destin, Florida.
They are known as one of America's Great Steakhouses but also serve kosher sandwiches, traditional pub fare, soups & salads, seafood specialties, and more.
I have to say the steaks we saw being served looked amazing. The table next to us on our last visit stopped talking when their food arrived.

The indoor seating includes low tables and chairs spread throughout the different rooms of the restaurant.

The indoor bar is a site to see! It is hard to believe the sheer number of dollar bills stapled to every inch o the walls and ceiling. You can enjoy a cocktail and get lose in looking around the room at everything.
Special Events
Annual McGuire's St. Patrick's Day Run - Benefiting local charities, this annual rain is conducted rain or shine.
The 5k run has raised $300,000 for local charities. Over 100 awards were given, including prediction awards, speed awards, best costume awards, and team speed awards.

Senate Bean Soup - This recipe was served for $.18 in the 1977 US Senate. This homemade soup is so good!
Irish Cockles & Mussels - Steamed clams and mussels in a white wine and garlic butter sauce with chopped bacon.
Reuben Eggrolls - Homemade Irish egg rolls with corned beef, sauerkraut, and Swiss Cheese served with thousand island dressing.
Corned Beef and Cabbage - swerved with Killarney potatoes and honey buttered carrots.
Irish Steak and Mushroom Pie - tenderloin tips baked with wild mushrooms in a cabernet wine demi-glaze topped with a house made puff pastry crust.
Shepherd's Pie - Ground steak with fresh vegetables topped with Irish potatoes, cheddar cheese, all baked to golden brown.
Irish Lamb Stew - lamb shanks, onions, Irish potatoes, parsnips, turnips, carrots, and celery.
New York Prime Strip - 16oz USDA Certified prime aged beef char-grilled over wood fires, served win garlic hotel butter.
Jameson Pork Chop - Grilled French loin pork chop with an Irish whiskey glaze, served with homemade granny smith applesauce.
Angus Steak Burgers - ¾ pound lean beef with a blend of seasoning rubbed into the steak burgers. Served with Irish potato fries or homemade baked beans.

Desserts - lucky chocolate brownie ala mode, New York Cheesecake, Homemade bread pudding with Bushmills Irish Whiskey sauce, Irish Coffee
Kids Menu - The kids menu is known as the Leprechauns Menu and includes Flynn's Fish n Chips, Macroni N Cheese, Mozzarella Cheese Sticks, Chix o'Nuggets, Flanagan's Corn Dog, O'Reilly's Cheesy Pizza and a Lucky Leprechaun Drink.
Gluten-Free - Let the server know you are gluten-free. They may have a designated menu including bean soup, Irish potato skins, corned beef and cabbage without sauce, any steak, Belfast BBQ Ribs, Pork Chops, Lamp Chops, Diet Fish, Grilled naked tuna, Grilled naked mahi mahi, grilled naked salmon, house salad, baked potato, steamed asparagus.
Vegan - Chef salad without meat or eggs, summer salad without chicken and bacon
Vegetarian - Paddy's Spinach artichoke and cream cheese dip, pub style beer chips, McGuire's Jumbo Bavarian Pretzel, Chef Salad without meat, caprese salad without chicken breast, summer salad without chicken and bacon. .

Irish Wake - This green drink comes in a mason jar and contains a drink so strong there is a limit of 3 per person.

Reservations - The restaurant does not take reservations. You can join the waitlist online.
Accessibility - There is a ramp leading into the restaurant. Once in the restaurant there is an area on the main floor and then most of the restaurant is up and down stairs.
Plus Size Seating - The seats were comfortable without arms. The restaurant is jam packed with tables and people. You may need to sit at an angle or shimmy into a spot.
Dress Code/Suggestions - Casual, maybe a bit of green
Pets - Pets are not allowed in the restaurant.
Parking - There is a large parking lot on both sides of the restaurant.
